Examples are all around us, think of a brand and then think of what segment of the market they own. Apple computers is creativity, Dell computers own the direct to consumer market and IBM are known more within the B2B world. More examples are Globe shoes own the skateboarding position of the shoe market, while Nike are positioned strongly within the sporting market. Where do you think Adidas is positioned? Where is your company positioned?
